The Horizon Reports I thought gave a detailed perspective particularly when viewed along side of one-another. In following of the trends and reflecting upon of the reality offered in the 2008 Report (which commented against the predictions forecast in the 2007 Report)  it allows a new learner to capture the currency of learning development, the supporting technologies and then to be able to trace/potentially predict the trends occurring in the technology that they are using. As I become further engaged with this learning medium, and the technology, these Reports will become more valuable as a resource to me.

Journal Posting Week 2 ~ 03 Mar – 09 Mar 08

The week commenced with the first block meeting on the 08 Mar 08. The amount of people in such a small room was unfortunate. All appeared keen on the course scope. Completed the 2x Seely Brown readings and posted detail to UTS online. The Seely Brown readings really set the scope and potential of e-learning as a potential medium for learning and in particular the way in which we effectively learn using ‘bricolage’. It made me question if we cobble information together in this form then how does consolidated understanding of subject matter occur?
