I commenced searching for an appropriate e-learning community to report against for the first Assignment submission. There were many sites observed but I was searching in the area of ‘general education’ and was not happy with the site locations as I felt I could not meet the performance requirements that I was required to report against. I commenced searches for on-line specific engineering sites looking within the broad areas of engineering structures, materials technology, hydraulics and water supply, and construction and project management; these being the four broad themes of Civil Engineering. Again I was disappointed with these areas. I then thought about the ‘home-handyman’ market and how these individuals could obtain information and learning about the building process.

I had problems with the online services at TAFE in accessing sites through banned locations and technology incompatibility with old equipment. My Army requirements have been particularly demanding this week with the unit training demands for Brigade demands on RRF training.
